Martin Lawrence-Kelsey Grammer Sitcom Headed to FX

The series may get 100 episodes.

According to Vulture, FX has just officially picked up the upcoming Martin Lawrence- Kelsey Grammer-starring sitcom for 10 episodes set to premiere some time next year. The series, which is currently untitled, is said to focus on Lawrence and Grammer as Chicago lawyers from "vastly different backgrounds" who end up meeting on the worst day of both their lives, and subsequently decide to work together. Comedy then ensues.

Though only 10 episodes have officially been picked up, the sitcom is reportedly operating on the same 10/90 model that fellow FX series Anger Management is, it's possible that if the first ten episodes perform well ratings-wise, the show is guaranteed to be picked up for 90 more episodes, which would put its total count at 100 episodes. How many jokes can you make about two "different" lawyers—both portrayed by comedians who had major network sitcoms in the '90s—working together? Looks like we're about to find out!
