Apparently there's an old joke that Mason-Dixon Line separates two Americas: the IHOP America and the Waffle House America. Deadspin decided to count all 1,661 Waffle Houses and 1,543 IHOP locations across the U.S. and got creative with it, creating maps showing where both establishments are located across the land.
The division is painfully obvious, but the Atlanta area is clearly winning because it has an abundance of both businesses. Head down there and visit as many of both as possible.
