Former showrunner Dan Harmon is making a triumphant return for NBC's little sitcom that could, Community, for its fifth season. He was fired last May after clashes with NBC and the notoriously difficult Chevy Chase.

Fans and cast members weren't sure if the Harmon-less season four would ever see the light of day (it aired months after it was supposed to) much less a season five. But, here we are. "With Dan Harmon back, it is really the sky’s the limit,” McHale said. “I don’t know what to expect. I mean, I know what to expect with Dan in that I know the scripts are gonna be dynamite and they will be absolutely unique and original, but I really don’t know what they have come up with.

Harmon has also been pretty vocal about his distaste for season four, which received mixed reviews from critics as well. Still, not matter how good it was (and how good could it be without Harmon?), we can't imagine he'd enjoy someone else take over his passion project.

McHale's not worried about it though. "[Dan] has said in his interviews [that] he wants to write the hell out of this season, so that’s what I focus on and am very thrilled about. So yeah, that’s kind of how I see it. I mean Dan has said stuff before during his podcasts," McHale said. "You know, I think finally once we premiere, [then] I think people will care about the episodes more than anything."
