Solid reporting.

At a Kings game on Friday, sports reporter Dan Moriarty ran into former Friends star Matthew Perry - whose most recent series, Go On, was unfortunately axed by NBC last week. Instead of sticking to talking about the game and the team, Moriarty chose to bring up the unfortunate news - by congratulating Perry on the "big news" about his show and commenting that it's cause for celebration. When Perry specifies the show was canceled, Moriarty still doesn't drop it, proceeding to nod in Perry's direction with a huge grin on his face.

To his credit, Perry handles it well and makes a joke out of it - "the show was really getting in the way of some King’s games, so I’m OK," - but still, this is definitely one of the worst reporting flubs we've seen so far this year. Almost on par with CNN
