NYPD Says Amanda Bynes Was Not Sexually Harassed By Officers (UPDATE)

Bynes tweeted yesterday that she would be suing the NYPD for wrongful arrest.

The NYPD is denying allegations that a police officer sexually harassed Amanda Bynes when she was arrested for possession of marijuana last week in her NYC apartment complex.

"Internal Affairs investigators have found no evidence to corroborate Ms. Bynes' allegations," the NYPD said in a statement, according to People. "To the contrary, a credible civilian witness who was with the officers throughout told investigators that none touched Ms. Bynes inappropriately or otherwise engaged in misconduct at any time."

Bynes posted the allegations on her Twitter this past Saturday, claiming that she was wrongfully arrested for possession of marijuana and for tossing a bong out of the window of her 36th floor apartment. From her tweet:

After she posted the tweet, the NYPD stated that they would be conducting their own internal investigation into the allegations. Yesterday, Bynes tweeted that she wants to sue the NYPD for wrongful arrest, and her entire apartment complex for claiming that she smokes marijuana in her apartment.

OK, seriously - this has gone way past wondering whether or not she's trolling us all.

UPDATE: Bynes has responded to the NYPD's statements via her Twitter (of course):
