New Orleans Mother's Day Parade Shooting Leaves 19 Injured

This is brutal. Who would do this?

None

Mother's Day was ruined in New Orleans yesterday when savages opened fire during the Mother's Day Parade in the 7th Ward of New Orleans. According to police, 10 men, 7 women and two children—a boy and girl, both 10-years-old—were all hit with bullets yesterday afternoon. The children are in stable condition, but two adults required surgery.

Police are searching for answers. "Detectives are conducting interviews, retrieving any surveillance video in the area and, of course, collecting all evidence. This is an extremely unusual occurrence, and we're confident that we will make swift arrests," said New Orleans Police Department spokesman Remi Braden.

No one knows what prompted the shooting, and New Orleans Police Department Superintendent Ronal Serpas says at least one other person was injured after falling. He adds that three people were seen fleeing the scene following the shooting.

UPDATE: The NOPD has released this video of the shooting which shows one of the suspects. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
