TMZ is reporting that actor Wesley Snipes, who has been incarcerated since December 2010 for tax evasion, was recently released from prison - just in time for Tax Day! Either someone in the justice system has a great sense of humor, or this is a subtle reminder for everyone to file their taxes before the April 15th deadline.
Snipes was apparently released on April 2nd, and transferred to the New York Community Corrections Office, which will be overseeing his house arrest. That will last until July 19th.
