Only he'll be named Benjamin Stacks, because that sounds way better.

The cast for Will Smith and Jay-Z's adaptation of Annie looks to be coming together - first Quvenzhané Wallis was cast as Annie herself last February, and now The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Django Unchained star Jamie Foxx is in talks to star as Daddy Warbucks - the rich man who unofficially adopts spunky orphan Annie - in the film. Only, he won't be named Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks anymore, because that's sort of outdated now; instead, the character will be named Benjamin Stacks, presumably because he has stacks and stacks of Benjamins lying around his house. Gotta admit, the name fits.

Foxx has received an offer from the studio, and is currently negotiating the deal. As previously reported, Smith, his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith, and Jay-Z are producing the film, and Friends With Benefits director Will Gluck will be directing. It's set to begin shooting later this year for a holiday 2014 release.
