George Zimmerman appeared in court this morning and waived his right to a pretrial immunity hearing. Zimmerman, 29, was charged with second degree murder after fatally shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, FL last February.

While Zimmerman's defense team has stated that they do not intend to have a hearing involving the controversial law before the trial, they are considering having one that runs concurrent with the murder trial and possibly one after it's conclusion.

Judge Debra S. Nelson will also listen to an argument about whether or not the defense should have access to the particulars of a settlement paid by Zimmerman's homeowner's association to Martin's parents that exceeds $1 million.

Zimmerman is due back in court on Jun. 10. Watch a livestream of the hearing here.
