Get ready to feel like you're ten again: The books that made every 90's kid's childhood awesome, Goosebumps, are being turned into a movie that is sure to make our adult lives awesome. According to Slashfilm, Sony acquired the rights to the R.L. Stine book series a few years ago, and is in negotiations with Monsters vs. Aliens director Rob Letterman to direct a film adaptation.
There's no word on which novel the film will be based off of - or if it will be a collection of vignettes, which would be cool - but Sony apparently has the rights to over 50 over the books. Initial plans were to make the film live-action.
