Stupidity and social media have claimed another victim. Christopher Robinson of Milwaukee, WI has been charged with several felonies because, despite being two years behind on his child support payments, he's on Facebook posing for pictures with "large sums" of cash. According to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office, Robinson hasn't made one payment since his child was born two years ago.

The D.A. refused to believe that Robinson was being honest about his financial situation, so they asked the court to strong-arm Facebook into giving them access to his account. That's where they found the incriminating photos.

Milwaukee County Chief Deputy District Attorney Kent Lovern called Facebook a "great investigative tool." Criminals and idiots alike should know this by now. According to Lovern, the photos allow the D.A.'s office to apply for a search warrant if it looks as though a suspect has more money than they claim to have.

There are two lessons to be learned here. First and foremost, be a father to your child. Pay your damn child support. Second, don't tell the court your broke when you're flashing your money on Facebook. There's a thin line between rich dad, poor dad, deadbeat dad and complete idiot.
