Drugged Up Grandpop Caught Speeding on Virginia HIghway

You don't want to get caught speeding in Virginia.

None

Isaiah Hall isn't the ideal grandfather. The 57-year-old New Jersey native was convicted this week for speeding down a highway in Virginia while high on heroin—and with his six grandchildren in the vehicle. None of them were wearing seatbelts.

Last year, Hall was pulled over in Hopewell, VA for speeding. A sheriff's deputy noticed that none of the children in the car, who ranged from age 4 to 15, were buckled in. For whatever reason, Hall was high while driving back from a funeral in North Carolina. Authorities found six bags of heroin in the car, and Hall admitted to using about six hours prior to being stopped.

Hall, who pleaded guilty to both endangering the lives of children and heroin possession, will be sentenced in May. He'll most likely serve less than a year in prison.
