A sick couple from Brooklyn who sought to open a babysitting service in order to drug and molest young children have been arrested in Jersey City, NJ. 35-year-old Bebars Baslan (pictured above) and 25-year-old Kristen Henry were apprehended by the NYPD and the FBI and charged with sexual abuse, though the FBI says they took action before any children were actually abused.
In the past, Henry worked as a special education teacher at a school in Lackawanna, NY. Authorities say Baslan collects child pornography, and wanted to film his girlfriend molesting a child to blackmail her in the future.
Both were arraigned in Brooklyn federal court yesterday and pleaded not guilty.
