Despite reports that Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan will revive Batman/Bruce Wayne for the new Justice League movie, it looks like Bale is out. Although he said he'd be open to it, a Warner Bros. source told Comic Book Movie that Bale won't be involved. They're looking to recast and "go with a new story."
Nolan is on board as a producer, though, as is Zack Snyder (300, the upcoming Man of Steel Superman reboot). They're also reportedly waiting to see how well Man of Steel does before going forward.
Who would you like to see take over the mantle of Batman? Joseph Gordon-Levitt, perhaps?
