Map Shows the Popularity of D.C.'s Rental Market

If you've been paying attention, you know how popular D.C.'s rental market is. Now, thanks to We Love D.C., you can visualise it. The shaded map above shows how expensive the area is, with red areas signaling higher rents and blue and green sections highlighting what's still considered affordable.

One-bedroom apartments go for $1,800 in the red areas, around $1,000 in the green and less in the blue. The bulk of Northwest D.C. is red or orange, but there are some affordable areas east of 16th Street NW. If you're looking to move anytime soon, this could aid your research.
