Erika Menendez, the woman accused of fatally pushing 46-year-old Senando Sen in front of an oncoming train in Queens last week, once attacked a FDNY and 9/11 hero. Back in 2003, Battalion Chief Daniel Conlisk says he encountered a crazed Menendez while he was taking out the trash at his home in Ridgewood, Queens.

“I was going out with the recyclables. It was dark out. Then this girl was standing there in front of me. She was shouting, ‘You fucked my mother!’ ” Conlisk said. “She started charging at me. She started clawing me in the face. I was trying to get away from her,” he added.

Conlisk says he was forced to run back inside of his home. When police arrived, Menendez returned to the scene, reportedly screaming that Conlisk had "stole my rings in high school.” Conlisk said he took out two consecutive orders of protection against Menendez, despite the begging of her boyfriend.

According to police, Menendez was arrested for punching a man in the face inside of her home. Authorities also say she has at least eight prior arrests dating back to her teens.
