Who knew that all of the weed you smoked could eventually lead to a job, let alone a career in a serious field. Now that Washington statehas legalized marijuana, they're trying to find the most efficient way to deal with it. Their solution is to hire an official weed consultant who will advise them on the best way to cultivate, package and distribute marijuana.
The state Liquor Control Board reserved a convention center in Tacoma for today to have a meeting with potential applicants. The room holds 275 people, and there's an overflow room, because there will certainly be an overflow of people interested in the position.
"The Liquor Control Board has a long and a very good history with licensing and regulation. We know it and know how to do it well," spokesman Mikhail Carpenter explained. He added: "But there are some technical aspects with marijuana we could use a consultant to help us with."
Anyone interested probably knows about this already, but the job will look great on your resume. The only place your career can go is, well, up. You probably won't have to worry about taking a drug test, either.
