Criminals, you've been warned. The SelectaDNA High Velocity System is nothing to mess with. It's a bright orange gun that shoots green, non-lethal bullets from a range of 98 to 131 feet which can remain on a target for weeks.

Here's a breakdown of the device, according to Andrew Knights, managing director of UK-based gun developer Selectamark:

"On contact with the target, the uniquely-coded SelectaDNA solution leaves a synthetic DNA trace mark that will enable the relevant authorities to confirm or eliminate that person from their involvement in a particular situation and could ultimately lead to arrest and prosecution."

Like we said, this gun isn't to be messed with.
