New Microsoft Ad Is The Ultimate Ode to the 1990s (Video)

Remember slamming Pogs in your parents' basement and crushing on that girl with a fanny pack?

Apparently so does Microsoft, whose latest ad for the revamped Internet Explorer is the ultimate bid for 1990s nostalgia and the hearts of millennials ages 21 to 35 everywhere. 

The video runs through every good and bad thing anyone could get wistful for these days, from slap bands to The Oregon Trail. Then comes the sell: "It's time to reconnect with the new Explorer; You've grown up, so have we."

The clever ad is part of Microsoft's broader campaign for Internet Explorer 10 whose homepage is browseryoulovedtohate.com. But is a new attitude enough to make the masses ditch their beloved Chrome and Firefox browsers? Watch the video and decide for yourself:
