Poor Chris Brody. First, he finds out his dad was working with the most wanted terrorist in the world, Abu Nazir, and now the only guy who will actually play cards with him, Mike Faber, isn't even going to be a series regular anymore. According to TVLine, Diego Klattenhoff, who portrays U.S. Marine Major Faber and Jessica Brody (Morena Baccarin)'s not-so-secret lover is apparently off the main cast list for the upcoming third season of Homeland, which is set to return this September.

There's been no official comment from the show's network, Showtime, or 20th Century Fox, but a source is reportedly saying that Klattenhoff could be back in a recurring capacity. As for the reasoning behind this casting shift, Mike's story was more or less wrapped up in the season finale - though, Baccarin is still expected to return as a series regular for season three.

But seriously, won't someone think of Chris?
