Lindsay Lohan Will Not Be Doing "Dancing With the Stars"

Because she's a "serious actress."

Lindsay Lohan is still holding out hope for a legitimate comeback to the world of acting, and we can respect that - even after watching this laughable clip from her upcoming film The Canyons. If there's a will there's a way, after all! While hope and optimism are good things to have, Lilo also apparently isn't being realistic about the state of her career either - despite owing hundreds of thousands of dollars in back taxes, TMZ is reporting that Lohan turned down a gig on Dancing With the Stars that would have given her a paycheck to the tune of $550,000.

The reasoning? She feels she's too serious an actress to ever do reality TV.

Unfortunately, Lohan doesn't exactly have her pick of jobs at the moment, and she's still a nightmare for any film studio to insure if they even consider hiring her - Stephen Rodrick's article in the New York Times about her behavior on the set of The Canyons isn't helping things either. If she wants to pay off her back taxes, which she probably should, reality television might be the only way to go for now.

Lohan did recently make an appearance on Million Dollar Decorators that, like all things she's involved with, ended up being ridden with controversy as well - hopefully, she doesn't end up unhirable for reality television too, because they'll literally hire anyone for that.
