"Girls" Unsurprisingly Renewed For a Third Season

In case you didn't already assume this.

None

Lena Dunham already sort of unofficially announced it a few days ago during her appearance on Alec Baldwin's podcast, but here's the confirmation anyway: According to Vulture, HBO has just confirmed that their wildly successful, Golden Globe-winning series Girls will be back for a third season.

Interestingly, season three will consist of 12 episodes instead of the standard order of 10 that both seasons one and two were given. But really, it's just all the more time for the girls to accidentally smoke crack, throw surprise weddings, brood on the beaches of Coney Island, and continue on their respective journeys of self-discovery - in funny, relatable ways! There aren't enough emojis in the world to express our elation right now.
