Apple Returns 500px Photography App to App Store

One week after getting the boot.

Just a week after getting the boot from Apple's iOS app store, the 500px photography app is back in business.

As you might recall, in a statement Apple said it removed the app for "featuring pornographic images and material, a clear violation of our guidelines." The company also mentioned finding child pornography on 500px.

According to The Verge, few changes have been made to the app, at least nothing worth noting. However, its sudden reappearance on the iOS paltform speaks to the company's contentious, and often perplexing, stance on porn. As we reported Monday, Vine, the video-sharing app on Twitter, came under fire for inserting porn into its Editor's Picks. The hardcore clip was likely seen by many, as Editor's Picks are typically pushed out to users' main feeds.
