Good news for The LeagueFX announced today that they have opted to renew the semi-improvised comedy surrounding a group of fantasy football league members for a 13-episode fifth season, following high ratings and tons of critical acclaim.

"The League is flat-out one of the funniest shows on television," Nick Grad, Executive Vice President of Original Programming at FX, said. "Co-creators Jeff and Jackie Schaffer have such a perfect take on the material and the show has an amazingly talented ensemble cast of stars. Another season was an easy decision and we hope to have it on our schedule for many more years to come."

The two-part finale of season four, featuring a guest appearance from Jeff Goldblum, is set to air tonight, and new episodes will return in the fall.
