Damon Torres, a street performer who earns a living by dressing up as video game characters and taking pictures with tourists in Times Square, was arrested last night for asking women out on dates groping strangers. According to the AP reports, he grabbed a 58-year-old woman's thigh. And he managed to be this charming while dressed as everyone's favorite Italian plumber.
Torres was charged with assault, and after being searched, possesion of marijuana. We can only imagine that being processed in central booking in red and blue suspenders isn't gonna do much for your street cred once inside Rikers.
