So far, Marvel NOW has been off to a solid start. With stand-out titles like The Indestructible Hulk, Thor: God of Thunder, and The Avengers, the House of Ideas has reinvigorated its comic book line with fresh plots and an eclectic mix of creative teams. But the book with the most fanfare around it has been Uncanny Avengers. Written by Rick Remender (Uncanny X-Force, Captain America) and illustrated by John Cassaday (Astonishing X-Men, Planetary), this title picks up where Avengers vs. X-Men left off, but the results have been much more satisfying so far.

The best part about the title is that it started off with a bang by bringing back the Red Skull, who Remender has written to be an even bigger lunatic than ever. Now, courtesy of Marvel, we have an unlettered three-page preview and a brief synopsis of Uncanny Avengers #3 for you to check out below. Also, be sure to pick up the full issue when it hits shelves on January 23.
