Philadelphiasports fans have always received a bad rap from other fans and the media thanks to the actions of some reckless individuals, but there's little that Philly fans will be able to do to defend themselves after this most recent incident. Following Wednesday night's game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Chicago Bulls (which the Sixers lost), fans of the two teams got into a heated argument on the ElSEPTA's Market-Frankford Line—that ended in violence.

When the train stopped at 46th and Market Streets, a Sixers fan shot a Bulls fan in the stomach as he was exiting the train. The bullet exited his body and struck a second victim in the leg, and both are expected to recover. The video below shows the entire shooting.

2012 has been a year of disappointment for Philadelphia sports fans, but this is obviously not acceptable. Let the Peanut Gallery's non-stop bashing of the fans commence. Or rather, continue. Blame Andrew Bynum'sIke Turner-inspired hairstyle for all of this.
