Matt Lauria and Zosia Mamet to Headline Off-Broadway Play "Really Really"

Luke Cafferty and Shoshanna Shapiro in a play together?

None

Since participating in stage productions during series hiatuses is what serious actors do, former Friday Night Lights star Matt Lauria and Girls star/playwright David Mamet's daughter, Zosia Mamet, are set to headline the play Really, Really off-Broadway early next year.

The productions begins previews on January 31st at the MCC Theater in NYC, and officially opens on February 19th. Written by Paul Downs Colaizzo, the play surrounds two college undergrads Davis (Lauria) and Leigh (Mamet) who, after a wild night of partying, find themselves at the center of ugly gossip that threatens to "reveal a vicious jungle of sexual politics, raw ambition, and class warfare where only the strong could possibly survive." It is being directed by David Cromer.

Luke Cafferty and Shoshanna Shaprio in a play together? Sorry guys—this is about as close to a Friday Night Lights/Girls crossover we're ever going to get. Sure, you didn't know you wanted it, but now that we've brought it up, it's hard to deny that it'd be kind of awesome, right?
