On Christmas Eve, police released video of a man who allegedly robbed a check cashing store in Harlem. The NYPD says that the incident occurred around 1:45 a.m., and the man entered the Pay-O-Matic carrying a "cup full of flammable liquid" that he threw "under the cashier window" while demanding money and brandishing a lighter.
The 22-year-old cashier handed over the money, which amounted to nearly $10,000 in cash. Check out footage of the robbery below:
