Parks and Recreation is getting another high-profile guest star this season as The Huffington Post is reporting that Jason Schwartzman will appear in an upcoming episode during season five. In the show, Schwartzman will play Dennis Lerpiss, the owner of an independent movie rental store in Pawnee that has fallen on hard times.
Schwartzman will join a company of famous guest stars this season, including Lucy Lawless, Christie Brinkley, Vice President Joe Biden, and Senators John McCain, Barbara Boxer, and Olympia Snowe. Newt Gingrich will also appear in an upcoming episode as well. All we know so far is that the episode will air in 2013, so we’ll update you with the exact date when it becomes available.
