Houston Has a Brooklyn-Themed Restaurant

That's how tight Brooklyn is.

Brooklyn Athletic Club opened in Houston, TX last night, and the restaurant's name is reportedly inspired by the "neighborhood social/dining clubs" that the owner's grandparents visited in Brooklyn. Though there's no actual Brooklyn Athletic Club in Brooklyn, the actual restaurant features an on-site food truck. That's simply amazing.

The restaurant is divided into two sections. The first is a 45-seat dining room that serves mac and cheese and corned beef Reuben sandwiches. The second part is the backyard which serves everything from bocce, horseshoes, badminton, a croquet court, and fire pits.

Brooklyn meets Texas—what's not to love here? It's like "Big Pimpin'" on a plate.
