Nolan Daniels offered $1 million dollars just for sharing his Facebook picture of the winning Powerball ticket. There was just one problem. Daniels did not win the Powerball.
A software engineer out of Mesa, Arizona, Daniels posed as a winner of last week's $587.5 million jackpot, the second highest in the lottery's history.
The caption under the Facebook picture read:
"Looks like I won't be going to work EVER!!!! Share this photo and I will give a random person 1 million dollars!"
An unidentified man from Arizona actually did win the Powerball along with a couple from Missouri. Since posting his message last Thursday, however, Daniels has received over two million shares on Facebook from people who believed he was the lucky winner.
Daniels has yet to make a statement about his photoshop hoax. If we had to take a guess: He's probably at work this morning like the rest of us.
