Apple has been found guilty of infringing three patents with the iPhone in a suit brought by Mobilemedia Ideas.

Mobilemedia Ideas is a jointly owned by Sony, Nokia, and MPEG LA. According to MobileMedia CEO Larry Horn, the company has a portfolio of about 300 patents. When the lawsuit was originally filed in 2010, Apple was accused of infringing on 14 different patents, but the list was shortened before the two parties went to trial. One of the patents in contention dealt with the a mobile phone camera, and the others revolved around call handling and call rejection.

Though Mobilemedia won the suit, damages were not yet specified. However, Horn believes they will be "substantial." It's safe to say Apple's not having the best week ever.
