Deadwood fans are, by and large, still bitter. Noted TV critic Alan Sepinwall recently wrote a book about the so-called "new golden age" of TV drama, entitled The Revolution Was Televised. In the book, Sepinwall does a deep dive into eight shows that changed the face of TV drama.

Of the eight series, Deadwood was the shortest lived. The western show was gunned down after three seasons and fans know that season three hardly felt complete.
