Avatar star Sam Worthington got himself into a bit of trouble this past weekend, when he was arrested for fighting with a doorman outside of a club in Atlanta. According to TMZ, the actor tried to enter the restaurant in an extremely intoxicated state when he was stopped by the doorman and asked for ID. This is reportedly when Worthington allegedly grew agitated and pushed the doorman twice, to which the doorman responded by pepper-spraying him and detaining him in handcuffs until cops arrived at the scene. The entire ordeal was, according to police, caught on surveillance video.
Worthington was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, but as of today the charges have reportedy been dismissed as the complaining witness failed to appear in court this morning.
