Believe it or not, Martin Scorsese has never worked with Al Pacino before on a film. Though their styles would certainly match up nicely, the duo simply never got together to put it on the screen. But that might be coming to an end soon after Robert De Niro told The Guardian that Pacino might star as union boss Jimmy Hoffa in Martin Scorsese’s upcoming mob film, I Heard You Paint Houses. When asked about the project, De Niro said:

None

This has been a project in the making for a while, so we don’t know if it’s actually going to see the light of day, especially with Scorsese’s busy schedule. But it would be nice to De Niro, Pesci, and Pacino tackle one last big mafia flick under the eye of Scorsese.
