Breezy Point just can't catch a break. The Queens neighborhood was ravaged by Hurricane Sandy, and now it's been subject to several burglaries—even during the holiday. On Wednesday and Thursday, at least three homes were robbed. The Post says that the burglarized homes include one that lost basement art and recording studios, as well as two cars to flooding. Thieves managed to steal $400 in two change jars.

Another woman says that her husband's collection of silver half-dollars—worth about $25,000—and a pair of watches with sentimental value were stolen. The woman, who says she's lived in the neighborhood for 30 years, says she's never felt uncomfortable there until now.

There were 14 burglaries from Nov. 12 to Nov.18, whereas there were none during the same time period a year prior.
