Believe it or not, Black Friday insanity isn't reserved for Walmart. A crowd of rowdy shoppers smashed the glass door of a L.A.Urban Outfitters when they rushed it as the store opened at midnight yesterday. The store had to be shut down for a moment while the glass was cleaned up, and paramedics were summoned to treat five people for cuts. No one had to be hospitalized.
According to Sgt. Marty Fine of the Santa Monica Police Department, "It was just too many people, too fast." Witnesses took to Twitter to provide real-time updates of the madness, and people everywhere started to loathe Black Friday just a little bit more.
