Ever since Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got engaged in June, the biggest question surrounding the couple has been, "Cool, but when are they getting married?"
The answer to that question is still forthcoming, but Miley's dad Billy Ray did let out some details on Monday night (Nov. 5), following his Broadway debut in Chicago.
"Liam asked if he could have my daughter's hand in marriage," he explained at the show's after party. "I said yes if I could be in his brother [Chris Hemsworth's] next movie."
He was clearly joking, and kept going with it. Responding to rumors that the pair will have not one, but three weddings, he indicated the three weddings will be good for him.
"Now, they [Miley and Liam] are going to have three weddings, so I'm thinking one movie with Chris, then we got the sequel to Liam's new movie [Hunger Games: Catching Fire] coming out," he kept on. "They have got three weddings, that has to be three movies for me."
It wasn't all jokes, though. Billy Ray is definitely a proud father who is anxiously looking forward to walking his daughter down the aisle.
"I actually sent her a note just last night that I do look forward to that moment whenever that time is," he said.
Until then, we'll just keep waiting.
