Ubisoft and Rock the Vote have brought the "Art of the Assassin" gallery to New York, Chicago and, of course, Los Angeles, and now it's time for you to take some of that art home.

The art is being auctioned off on Ubisoft's custom eBay store over the next week. There are 17 pieces of Assassin's Creed-inspired art up for grabs, all of which have been on display at the various launch parties around the country. The net proceeds from the auction will go directly to Rock the Vote, and seeing as the actually presidential election is less than a month away, that can't happen too soon. Get off your asses and vote, people!

Ahem. “After seeing how people responded in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York when we exhibited the work, we can’t wait to give people a chance to purchase the originals,” said Ubisoft's Senior VP of Sales and Marketing, Tony Key, in a press release. “And there’s no better way to conclude this campaign than giving our fans another way to experience the Assassin’s Creed brand, all while helping support Rock the Vote.”

Speaking of Assassin's Creed, there's just one week left until AC 3 launches. Will you celebrate by buying some art? Or are you just looking forward to playing the game?
