According to TV Line, Rutger Hauer has been added to the cast of True Blood for the show’s upcoming sixth season. In the show he’ll play Macklyn, a mysterious and evil man with ties to both Sookie and Jason. This role will add to Hauer’s resume of playing sinister villains in basically every movie and TV show he’s ever been in from Blade Runner to Batman Begins. Maybe one day we’ll see the warm and cuddly side of Hauer, but it looks like that won’t be happening yet.
