Google has a big press event scheduled for a week from today and there's lots of speculation as to what exactly the tech giant has up its sleeve. A new Nexus phone from LG and a 32 GB version of the Nexus 7 seem likely, but that might not be all.

A report in TNW today suggests that a rumored 10-inch Nexus tablet made by Samsung will also be announced. The tablet, expected to be called the Nexus 10, is said to boast a super high resolution 2560×1600 display with ~300 ppi. That would put it ahead of the Retina Display iPad, which offers a ppi of 264.

In addition to the new tablet and LG phone, TNW says Google will unveil an improved version of Android to power both devices that will be called Android 4.2. The OS will still be known as Jelly Bean and represent a modest upgrade that introduces multiple user profiles for a single device among other iterative improvements.

We'll keep you updated as more news of Google's plans breaks.
