We can't confirm whether or not 25-year-old Matthew Sullivan is a 2 Chainz fan, but he can probably relate to the line, "I'm in the trap 'cause I work there." Sullivan, a bellhop at The Bowery Hotel (335 Bowery), was arrested and put on blast Wednesday after he sold weed to an undercover cop. Police handcuffed him and paraded him around in front of the hotel before throwing him in an NYPD van. He wore his adorable red vest all the while.
Sullivan was arraigned yesterday, where he reportedly claimed that this was a clear case of entrapment. That worked for Bodie on The Wire; we'll see if it works for Sullivan. He's been employed at the hotel for "a couple of years," and was released after being charged with criminal possession of marijuana.
