While searching for his estranged wife, a 50-year-old Miami man set himself on fire when he couldn't find her. The man was at his wife's parents' home, and her father informed him that she wasn't there, but invited him inside regardless. The man retreated to his car, which caught fire just moments later. His father-in-law ran to the car, and the man emerged, but refused all help. He suffered severe burns, but survived.
He was transported to a local trauma facility, where he is listed as being in stable condition.
