Daniel Selmon is a special kind of idiot. You see, he understood that he needed to protect his marijuana plants from the cold, and to do that, he lit a bonfire. And then the plants caught fire. And then the enormous blaze attracted the police of Aurora, IL. And when the smoke cleared, Selmon was arrested for marijuana possession. Police took the plants, which amounted to about 6.5 pounds.
Selmon was also charged with misdemeanor marijuana production, and is prison on $30,000 bail.
