According to Vulture, CBS is developing a TV version of the 2011 comedy film Bad Teacher, which starred Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake. Community and Happy Endings writer Hilary Winston is writing and producing the single-camera show that will likely focus on a foul-mouthed, ill-tempered middle school teacher, just like the movie. Just don’t expect Diaz to make the jump to the small screen to reprise her role from the film. We’ll have more information on the casting of the show as it becomes available.
