Did Safe House need a sequel? Probably not, but since this is Hollywood, we're all getting one anyway. According to The Hollywood Reporter, David Guggenheim - who wrote the script for the first movie while working a day job at Us Weekly - has been tapped to write a follow-up to the successful film, and Scott Stuber is set to return as producer.

It's being speculated that Ryan Reynolds would likely return to star, and that Denzel Washington likely won't because his character had a pesky plotline involving death in the first film. The studio is reportedly interested in still having Washington involved with the film in some manner, however.

Are you excited for a Safe House sequel?
