If you need anymore proof that a new iPhone was being announced this month, look no further. Apple has sent out invitations to a media event on September 12. The invitation, as seen above, features the number "12" as well as the tagline "It's almost here." The shadow of the 12 is the number "5" which all but confirms that the next phone to come from Apple will indeed be called the iPhone 5.
The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco and is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM PST.
