Call it a long time coming, but Spotify is looking to reportedly launch a browser-based version. As of right now, the music service program has limited its users to the option of downloading their desktop software or getting the mobile app. But in an effort to compete with their rival Pandora, Spotify is also looking at improve the way their users can discover more music. They will supposedly do this by "suggesting various lists to follow and [they] 'may try to recruit big name celebrities, musicians, and DJs to share playlists.'"

With Apple also working on an Internet radio service of their own, the landscape of browser-based radio service is about to get a lot more competitive in the near future. Who are you pulling for?
