Episodes fans, good news: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Showtime has renewed the series for a third season, following high ratings, particularly amongst a male demographic. It will begin production on the nine-episode season in Los Angeles and London next year.

The series, which was nominated for three Emmys during its first season, follows Matt Leblanc playing an exaggerated version of himself, as well as Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greig as British writer couple Sean and Beverly Lincoln who cast Leblanc in the lead role in their sitcom. The second season drew in an average of 1.66 million viewers.
